We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community. |

Now ONTO THE SPEEDPAINTING: The way the fire curves with the fat of the neck is a little strange but still delightfully cool. Of course, your use of colors to highlight the flesh about the body is very good, and the way the firelava seems to melt off of the face makes him seem as if he's melting into nothing. The smoke coming out of the mouth was a very, very nice touch, and the light contrasting with the dark background is very neat. His eye intrigues me, it is as if he is crying out lava, or crying out in pain. Of course, the eyebrow is beautiful, and i'm in awe since I can't do eyebrows to save my life. You added color ontop of the head as well, to give it depth, that's a really, really nice touch. Overall this is a neat/creepy picture. When I first saw it I didn't think he was in pain at all, though. More as if this is natural for him. Seeing it now though it changes slightly. Oh well.
